Seyed AmirHossein Asghari is a scholar of Islamic intellectual and spiritual traditions working at the intersection of philosophy, mysticism (ʿirfān / Sufism), ethics, and comparative religious thought. His research examines how traditions of reasoning and contemplative practice shape moral understanding, spiritual formation, and the conceptual grammar of revelation, law, and selfhood.

He is the author of Sufism and Philosophy in the Contemporary Shia Seminary (Bloomsbury Academic, 2025) and pursues ongoing projects on Islamic natural law, the Han Kitab tradition (including Ma Dexin), and comparative legal-theological inquiry in Shiʿi and Jewish traditions. Alongside academic writing, he develops public-facing educational media through the Wisdom & Religion platform, producing Persian-first lectures with accessible scholarly resources.
